1981-82 Russ Anderson Pittsburgh Penguins Game Worn Jersey
Russ Anderson spent six seasons in the Steel City before being traded to the Hartford Whalers on December 29, 1981. This home (white) jersey is from Anderson’s final season in Pittsburgh. Light wear overall; however the front neck torn down to the base of the collar. There are several large stick marks on the front. A few light stick marks on the left sleeve and across the back. Sandow tag is missing from collar. SandowSK screened on the back right hem with a small loop style and sweat stained fight strap sewn inside the back. The shoulder-to-shoulder nameplate is all sewn-on and original to the jersey. Anderson’s number “7” is screened onto the shoulders and back.
