1981 Franco Harris Pittsburgh Steelers Game Worn Jersey

Great game worn 1981 Franco Harris Pittsburgh Steelers jersey. Harris is a Hall of Fame fullback and a part of four Steelers Super Bowl teams (IX,X, XIII, and XIV). Harris was a key part of one of the most famous NFL plays in history, "The Immaculate Reception." In a 1972 playoff game with Oakland, the Steelers trailed the Raiders 7-6 with only 22 seconds left. A Terry Bradshaw pass intended for John "Frenchy" Fuqua arrived just as did Raider safety Jack Tatum. Officially, the ball bounced off Tatum and into Harris' hands, and Harris ran the ball in for the winning touchdown. But Harris wasn't about just that one famous play. The punishing runner accumulated 12,120 lifetime yards. White jersey, with black numerals and name in gold. Back reads, "Harris 32." Front and sleeves read, "32." Thankfully, this jersey is not immaculate, as it exhibits wonderful game use with 40 team repairs, paint transfers, abrasions, and loose threads. Staining on front. Year "81" tag along with Sand-Knit and Steelers tags on tail. Comes directly from the Pittsburgh Steelers with Steelers LOA.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Steelers Archives Jerseys will be donated to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research.
