1982 Fergie Jenkins Chicago Cubs Game Worn Jersey
You can go home again - Fergie Jenkins returned to his Chicago Cubs, where he was a 3-time All-Star and 1971 National League Cy Young Award winner, for his last two years in the Majors in 1982 and ’83. This ’82 home white jersey has blue pinstripes, Cubs logo on the left breast, Cubby patch on the left sleeve and his # 31 on the back. Signed on the front and back by Jenkins in 7/10 blue Sharpie. Tagging in the collar is Wilson size 46, with "81 2 46" strip tag below. "81" also sewn on front tail. Although this jersey is tagged "81", it was used in 1982. The jersey was made in 1981 and numbered in 1982 when Jenkins returned to the Cubs. In 1981, the number 31 was not used by the Cubs. Nice game use.
