1982 World Series Victory Celebration Photo From Busch Stadium
When the final out was made, Busch Stadium turned into bedlam. The Cardinals had won it all on their home turf. World Series MVP catcher Darrell Porter, rushed to the mound and jumped into Bruce Sutter's waiting arms, in a picture reminiscent of Yogi's famous Series ending bear hug at the mound. That moment is captured here in this large sepia photo (23-1/2 x 27-1/2") that hung in the Busch Stadium Club. Matted and framed (33 x 39") with a plaque at the bottom that reads, "Bruce Sutter and Darrell Porter 1982 World Series victory." NRMT.
