1983-84 Bryan Trottier Stanley Cup Finals Game Worn Jersey
A gorgeous New York Islanders gamer donned by one of the all-time greatest influences on the game of hockey, the most complete center in recent history. Worn during the 1984 Stanley Cup Finals against the Edmonton Oilers, the jersey shows excellent use from that outing with scuffs and some staining to both shoulders and the numbers on the back as well as the patch on the front. The unlikely come-from-behind win for which the New York Islanders had become legendary, was not to be against Wayne Gretzky and the Edmonton Oilers, but nevertheless this is an important jersey from the current Islander team leader in total points and assists (1,018 & 638). Large circular NY Islanders patch sewn on the front and “Trottier 19” on verso. Both shoulders also bear his number 19. “CCM” embroidered onto the back tail. Comes with photo documentation. LOA provided with jersey.
