What a way to go out! Johnny Bench's brilliant, 17-year career came to a close on September 29, 1983 at Cincinnati's Riverfront Stadium. Used as a pinch-hitter in the fifth inning, the Hall of Fame catcher delivered a two-run single as part of a five-run uprising. Here's a full, unused ticket from that bittersweet game that is in NRMT condition. And though Bench went out on top, his Reds sadly did not, falling 11-7 to the Giants.
