1984 Canada Cup Wayne Gretzky Game Used Stick
You will find this stick on the "want" lists of most Wayne Gretzky equipment collectors. This special edition Titan was produced for Wayne to use in the 1984 Canada Cup. Blue "Canada Cup" graphics and the Canada Cup '84 logos decorate both sides of the shaft. The knob is wrapped in discolored white over the oily black "bulldog" style tape. The blade is covered in Gretzky's distinctive baby powdered "bulldog" tape. A pencilled "WG" can be found on the heel and "W.GRETZKY" is factory stamped on the stick. Wayne has inscribed above the blade "To Kim, Love Wayne Gretzky, 99" in ballpoint. This is the first time we have seen Wayne use the word "love" in an inscription. This one shows heavy use with no cracking.
