1984 Detroit Tigers World Series Trophy
Shimmering 1984 Detroit Tigers Championship trophy that was presented to pitcher Juan Berenguer, who went 11-10 as the team's 4th starter and was critical in the team running away with the AL East and the pennant before disposing of the Padres in a 5-game World Series. Trophy has a 7" in diameter black base on which are mounted pins with the Tigers and Padres logos, the first reading "World Series Detroit" and the second "First World Series San Diego Padres," as well as a baseball-supported gold arch topped by a gold crown. Flag pins of all the other MLB teams ring the base, which has a gold band that reads in black: "World Champions-Detroit Tigers-1984-Juan Berenguer." Balfour sticker is attached to the underside of the base. Splendid display item for Tiger fans who revere the memories of Sparky, Kirk, Jack, and Lance. EX-MT.
