1984 Michael Jordan First Appearance vs. NBA in Olympic Tribute Game Ticket Stub (PSA)
Ticket stub dated July 9, 1984, as Michael Jordan - months before playing his first game for the Chicago Bulls - made his first appearance during the US Olympic Team's barnstorming tour against a team of NBA stars. This was also significant in that it was the first event held at Indiana's Hoosierdome, with Jordan netting 12 points in the Olympians' 97-82 victory over the NBA stars. Ticket measures 1.5x4.25", is neatly torn at the perforation, and shows some handling but its only real flaw is a crease in the middle, hard to see in the PSA encapsulation which verifies this item as Authentic. As it turned out, the Soviet Union boycott of the '84 games paved the way for a smooth ride to a gold medal for Team USA basketball, as MJ went on to craft an NBA career for the ages.
