1984 Mike Schmidt 400 Home Run Game Worn Jersey
His thirty-six home runs and 106 RBI's led the league in '84 as the burly third baseman creeped ever closer to immortality, but he was wearing this very jersey when he sent number 400 out of the park. Sky blue roadster has zipper-front with "20" and the Phillies "P" on chest and "Schmidt 20" on back. Trademark button in tail. Great patch on left sleeve commemorates the centennial of the team. "Schmidt" stitched into collar and "84 1" stitched in tail. "Wilson [size] 44" tag in tail as well, with "Tapered" flag tag. Strong wear. Finally, the HOF'er has signed in blue sharpie on the upper left chest, "Mike Schmidt #400." Came from a source inside the locker room in Los Angeles where the game was played. He hammered it off of Bob Welch and later signed the jersey for the gentleman who obtained it with honor.
