1984 US Olympic Baseball Team Signed Bat with Mark McGwire
The 34 1/2" Louisville Slugger is embossed with 1984 Team USA on the barrel and the knob is stamped with the number 4. The bat is signed by 19 members of the team, which technically won the gold medal but since at the time it was only a demonstration sport no official medals were awarded. Some of the key signatures are those of Mark McGwire, Will Clark, Shane Mack, BJ Surtoff, Odibee McDowell all of whom when on to MLB fame. The blue sharpie signatures are crisp and clearly legible, most earning a 9 out of 10.
