1985 Roger Clemens Payroll Check with Mint Signature on Back
We can only guess how long the Red Sox pay periods are, if he was making close to $10,000 in a one or two week period, but this is most certainly a payroll check written to Roger Clemens on September 30, 1985. The check itself has a single fold line down the middle but there is no paper separation. But what makes this lot a great find is the outstanding signature on the back endorsing the check. The blue ball point Clemens signature is MINT and easily earns a 9.5 rating. COA
