1986-87 Don Maloney Game Worn Jersey
A key road jersey from the hardest working player ever to don a New York Rangers jersey. Don Maloney started his NHL career off with a bang, electrifying Madison Square Garden by scoring on his first shot in his NHL debut against Boston. From the 1986-87 regular season, blue mesh jersey displays “Rangers” across the front in 3-D style red on white tackle twill lettering. This was the first year that the Ranger jerseys displayed “Rangers” rather than “New York” across the front. Assistant captain’s “A” sewn on the front left shoulder. Verso is “Maloney 12” in same 3-D style. Each shoulder also proudly displays his number. Back tail with embroidered “CCM” and collar tagging is “Gerry Cosby” with “CCM” care flag tag. Nice use with some team repairs on the front as well as the elbows.
