1986 Gary Matthews Chicago Cubs Jersey
Gary Matthews patroled the outfield for 16 seasons collecting over 2000 Hits for five different teams. His honors included being name NL Rookie of The Year in 1973, a 1979 All-Star and the 1983 NLCS MVP with the Cubs. This Wilson game used jersey is from the 1986 season. The front of the jersey contains the Cubs trademark logo and the shirt tail has a blue patch sewn in to the tail area with "86" embroidered in white. The inside collar tags are "Wilson 44" and a sewn on plate " 36 86 2 44" embroidered in white. The left sleeve contains the Cubs "Cub face" patch. the back of the jersey contains "36" in red on white lettering. Matthews name has been removed from the back.
