1986 Tommy John New York Yankees Contract with "Tommy John" Surgery Sign-off
1986 Tommy John contract for his first year with the Yankees. Six page fold-out contract is signed by Woody Woodward and Dr. Robert W. Brown (Tommy John's doctor who needed to sign all of John's contracts because of his original "Tommy John Surgery". However, it appears the Doctor's signature may have been ghost signed by Yankees executive Robert Fishel. Of course, Tommy John has also signed this one. Included in this lot is a cover letter from Woody Woodward asking John to sign and return a receipt sent with the contract.
