1986 World Champion NY Mets Team Signed Baseball
The Mets dominated the baseball landscape in 1986, winning a franchise-record 108 games during the regular season before grinding out thrilling wins in the NLCS and World Series. Thirty-three signatures grace this NRMT Official Rawlings World Series baseball, including Ray Knight, who notates "1986 W.S. M.V.P." below his name. All the other culprits are here, as well: Carter, Hernandez, Mookie Wilson, Gooden, Dykstra, Strawberry and even George Foster, who was released mid-season and left under less-than-cordial conditions.
