1987-88 John Tonelli Game Worn Calgary Flames Jersey
When Tonelli turned 18 near the end of the 1974-75 season in juniors he left early to sign on with the Houston Aeros in the WHA. His first linemates in Houston were Gordie and Marty Howe. Not a bad way to get your feet wet. Maska Air Knit tag in collar. Flames crest with “Best Always John Tonelli #27” in black marker within the “C.” 1988 Olympic patch on the left sleeve. Number “27” on back, and both sleeves. Name on back is individual letters sewn on to plate which was then sewn on to jersey. 100% original with tons of use. Stick marks, repairs, burns, board marks and pilling inside sleeves, make this one a real winner.
