1987-88 Wayne Gretzky Game Worn Edmonton Oilers Gloves
Wayne Gretzky’s historic hands filled these gloves as he rewrote the record books as an Edmonton Oiler. Jofa model 686L with the extended cuff and “Jofa” across the wrist roll. Wayne’s number “99” decal is clearly visible on each thumb. This style was worn by Gretz during the 1987-88 season, his last with the Oilers. and match up with hundreds of photos from the period. Obvious game wear with blue staining inside the right palm from contact with the blue gripper on the sticks he used that season. Letter of Authenticity from Brad Foote.
