A fantastic trio of Kings jerseys with a couple rare patches. First is a Road (purple) Wayne McBean jersey from 1987-88. Maska Air-knit tag sewn in the neck. A few light marks on the lower front with solid puckering of the crest. Back right sleeve has a few stick marks with a large two-inch material-backed repair near the cuff. Five more repairs on the back left sleeve including two sizable repairs greater the 1” long and plenty of stick marks. Front of the left sleeve has more stick marks and some light stains. McBean’s name sewn onto a longer nameplate on the back. A solid burn through the back number 1. CCM logo embroidered on the back right hem. Fight strap and subsequent pilling inside the back. Alternate Captain’s “A” font is not consistent with other we’ve seen so it may have been added after McBean wore it. Second of this royal lot is Rene Chapdelaine’s two-patch jersey from 1991-92. NHL 75th Anniversary patch is sewn to the right chest and the Kings’ 25th Anniversary patch is on the left shoulder. Light stains to the left of the collar and more stains on the front including a darker one on the lower left hem. Maska Ultrafil and size 54 tags in the collar. Heavy paint transfers above the number 63 on the right sleeve. A few marks on the left sleeve with a large repair on the back left sleeve. Chapdelaine’s name is sewn directly onto the back. Several marks and scrapes are strewn across the back numbers. CCM and NHL logos embroidered on the back right hem. Fight strap and pilling reside inside the lower back. Pilling inside both arms. Third in the trio is Lonnie Loach’s jersey from the 1992-93 season. Maska Air-Knit tag in the neck with size 52 penned onto the tag in blue ink. Light puckering on the crest. 1993 Stanley Cup Finals patch adorns the right chest. The patch is sewn onto a piece of knit material over the Stanley Cup 100th Anniversary patch underneath. Loach’s name sewn directly on the back. CCM and NHL logos embroidered on the back hem. Los Angeles Kings 92-93 Set P tag with Equipment Manager Peter Miller’s initials inside middle back hem. Light pilling inside both sleeves. Lonnie Loach played in just one game during the 1993 Stanley Cup Playoffs – Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals on June 7, 1993 as the Kings wore their Home (white) jerseys hosting the Montreal Canadiens. This jersey is considered game-issued only and was likely worn in pre-game skates during the playoffs before the final scratches were made for each game.
