1987 Mark McGwire Signed Game Used Rookie Bat (34.5")
You might say baseball's new power generation arrived with this bat, one of the young McGwire's cache of lumber from '87 when he cracked a rookie record 49 big flies (33 by the All-Star break alone) with 118 RBIs and a .289 average for the Oakland A's. Whatever other sources may have gone into Big Mac's power supply, his Adirondack "Big Stick Mark McGwire Professional Model" was the ultimate generator, and this signed one is among the ultimate in McGwire-signed memorabilia, with his name and "#25" in black Sharpie on the barrel, grading an 8/10. Lots of ball-punishing use evident in ball marks on barrel as well as pine tar residue on handle. Great bat from the future HR King, at least for a few years. Comes with LOA.
