Nice remembrance of a great Cleveland team. The ‚48 Indians took the pennant with an outstanding 97-58 record and went on to win the World Series over the Boston Braves. Early Kodachrome film mounted on board. Easel backs. Professionally done from old time Cleveland collector. 14x17" Photo of Joe Gordon depicts the player that in ‚48 hit 32 home runs and tallied 124 RBI, super power numbers for a second baseman in that era. The other ad photo is of outfielder Allie Clark, who contributed a .310 batting average. Frames exhibit slight chipping and staining and photos have light scratching and staining.
