1989-90 Bob Carpenter Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Finals Game Worn Jersey & 2003-04 Ivan Huml Boston Bruins Vintage Game Issued Jersey (2)
An intimidating pair of Bruins jerseys – both with Vintage tastes in mind. First is a Bob Carpenter Bruins Road (black) jersey worn in the 1990 Stanley Cup Finals against Edmonton as well as the 1990 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Stick marks litter the front on the crest and lower front. An un-repaired hole is evident on the lower left front at the hem seam. A few light stains – possibly from blood – are on the crest. 1990 Stanley Cup Championship patch on the front right chest. Maska Air-Knit tag in the collar with size “52” penned in faded ink. Red paint transfer, stick marks, board burns and a repair line the back right sleeve. More of the same on the front of the same sleeve with another repair near the cuff. Board burns on the left chest and right shoulder. Two repairs on the back left sleeve and another on the front left sleeve. Stick marks, board burns and paint transfers – including several through the sleeve numbers – are on the left sleeve. Red paint transfers on the back left hem and another blue transfer next the CCM and NHL logos on the back right hem. Solid stick mark through the first number one on the back. Rubberized Custom Crafter logo on the back left hem. Nice pilling inside the sleeves and back where the fight strap hangs. Second jersey is game issued Ivan Huml that was prepared for his use on January 19, 2004 vs. NY Rangers. Huml did not dress for the game and his CCM size 56 jersey is in perfect condition. NHL Vintage patch on the right chest and the CCM and NHL logos are sewn on the back right hem. Huml’s name sewn onto a name-length nameplate above his number 36 on the back. Fight strap hangs inside the back and 2003-04 NHL Game Worn Jersey tag resides inside the back left hem.
