1989 Steve Yzerman Detroit Red Wings Game Used Stick
1989 game used hockey stick comes from Detroit Red Wings' legendary captain Steve Yzerman. Louisville TPS stick shows great use with original tape on the blade and butt end; the knob is likely red which has faded to a pinkish hue, while the black blade tape has a few missing spots as well as erosion at the base of the blade. YZERMAN is painted on the shaft in red letters on white. Date stamped Feb. 24, 1989, this was likely used in the 89-90 season, in which Stevie Y amassed a career-high 155 points. He secured his place as a Detroit sports icon, playing all of his 22 Hall of Fame seasons in the Motor City while leading his Original Six squad to no less than three Stanley Cup Championships.
