1990-91 Mark Recchi Stanley Cup Championship Worn Jersey
A jersey of titanic proportions, this was worn by “The Wrecking Ball” during the Pittsburgh Penguins first Stanley Cup. Mark Recchi was the key to that Championship, scoring late in the 3rd period of Game 6, using his patented one-legged shot to give the Pens the lead over the Boston Bruins. Black & yellow jersey is adorned with Penguin on skates logo on the front and the “1991 Stanley Cup Championship” patch embroidered on the front right shoulder. Verso is “Recchi” on straight nameplate with his large number “8” below in yellow on white tackle twill. Each sleeve also bears his number in black on white. The jersey shows outstanding use from that all-important contest with a multitude of track marks and team repairs from giving 110% on the ice. “CCM” along with the official NHL crest sewn on the back tail. “Maska” flag tag in collar. Comes with photo documentation.
