1990 Mickey Mantle Signed Trump Plaza Banner
Regardless of your politics, this 10-foot long Trump Plaza banner signed by Mickey Mantle is a brilliant piece of memorabilia. The show he was promoting at the time was "BB '90 A New Decade" starring Mantle, whose ties to Atlantic City and other gambling institutions had gotten him in trouble with baseball in the 1980s. The inscription on the silken banner reads, "To The Best in A/C, Mickey Mantle 1990" in Mint black Sharpie. It was a tribute to "Willie, Mickie and The Duke," but Mantle was the star. The banner was obtained recently from a lucky attendee.
