1991-92 Dominic Roussel Game Worn Flyers Jersey
Roussel was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers and played his first season with the Hershey Bears in the AHL. The following season (1991-92), Roussel made the Flyers lineup and began to see some action in goal. On the advice of his father, he demanded an enormous sum of money in salary, more than the starter, Ron Hextall. When he didn't get it, he sat out training camp. The Flyers management took a dim view of all of this, banished him to the minors and acquired another backup goalie, Garth Snow. He had a couple of more short stints with the Flyers but never caught on with them. Jersey has an NHL 75th Anniversary patch on right sleeve and a Flyers 25th Anniversary patch on the left. His number "33" is on both sleeves and on the reverse under "Roussel". Size "54" tag in neckline, along with CCM tag with "33 G" in marker. "CCM" and "NHL" logos on tail. In nice condition.
