Harry Howell was a rock steady defenseman for the New York Rangers for 17 seasons. The Hall of Famer was a stay-at-home defenseman who used his smarts to thwart the opponent's offense. Howell scored 94 goals and added 324 assists for 418 NHL points. He stayed active, sometimes as a player/coach, including World Hockey Association squads, until his last season at age 43. Howell was a 7-time All Star, and he won the Norris Trophy as the NHL's best defenseman in 1965-66. After winning the Norris, Howell said, "I'm glad I won [Norris Trophy] now because I expect Bobby Orr to win the award from now on." Howell was correct. Orr won the Norris for the next eight seasons. Howell's game used #3 Captain's old-timer's jersey is blue with red and white trim. In the collar, it is tagged "Cosby," "Authentic Collection," "Maska 100% Polyester," and "52" for size. On the lower tail a "CCM" label is sewn and also a sewn "NHL" label. On the chest is the "NHL's 75th Anniversary" patch. "3" is on each sleeve, and a large red "3" is on the back. "Howell" is in red letters across the back. There is a scuff mark around the left elbow. There is also a fight strap. Howell signed his name in Mint silver paint pen with the inscription "HOF 1979". The jersey comes with a Letter of Authenticity signed by Howell.
