1991-92 Paul Coffey Pittsburgh Penguins Game Worn Jersey
It is one of the last jerseys Paul Coffey wore before the Pittsburgh Penguins sent him to the Kings during the 1991-92 season. Lightly bruised and loaded with decals honoring the NHL's 75th anniversary, the Penguins' 25th year and the death of Penguins coach Bob "Badger" Johnson, the Maska polyester jersey sports the one item that crystallizes the tenure of Coffey in Pittsburgh: the captain's "C." He came to the Penguins to provide leadership and anchor the defense after winning three Stanley Cups at Edmonton. He succeeded and the Penguins won their first title with him in 1991.
