1991-92 Wayne Gretzky Los Angeles Kings Game Worn Jersey
No need to sell you on the player - let's get right to the shirt! White CCM knit Los Angeles Kings home uniform worn by Wayne Gretzky during the 1991-92 NHL season. Commemorative cresting include the NHL's 75 Anniversary patch and another marking the 25th Anniversary of the Los Angeles Kings. Storied number "99" on the back and sleeves with Wayne's "C" on the left breast. Numbers and lettering are done in three colors with the name-on-back in letters stitched directly onto the shirt. Inside hem features expected customizations with the black Velcro strip and a "99" patch done in the same font as the back numbers. Double NHL shield and CCM embroidered onto the tail and the fight strap has been cut out (another Gretzky trademark). This gamer was custom tailored for Wayne and has the bell-cut body and shorter, wider sleeves. The game use on this jer-sey is a treat! Numerous stick slashes on the sleeves and body in various shades including a few white and red marks. Pilling appears on the exterior under the chin and again inside with heavy areas on the hem and in the elbows. The shirt displays slight staining on the cuffs, beneath the v-neck and in the armpits. Wondrous wear for a Kings jersey! This shirt has been examined by the best in the business and comes to you with two separate Letters of Authenticity.
