1991 Winston Cup Championship Ring

1991 Winston Cup Championship Ring

Known around the oval as "The Intimidator," Dale Earnhardt, Sr., was known, respected (and feared) throughout the world of NASCAR racing. His championship in the 1991 Winston Cup was the fifth of seven titles he would win in his storied career. This 10k gold ring (size 11) features a winged bird outline design circled by checkered flags with the year 1991 at the bottom. The left shank salutes his team, "Richard Childress Racing," and Earnhardt's infamous #3. The right has the last name of the crew member awarded the name, Cecil Gordon, above the words "Winston Cup." Earnhardt tragically lost his life 10 years later in the final lap of the Daytona 500 and to this day remains one of the most beloved - and hated - figures in the sport's history.
