1992-93 Al Iafrate Washington Capitals Game Worn Jersey
The veteran defenseman and '84 U.S. Olympic team member came to the Capitals in 1991 after 7 seasons with the Maple Leafs and helped ring up 90-point seasons for the team the next two years, and mucho time in the penalty box for himself with his flying fists. Iafrate's '92-93 jersey shows the consequences for such rough and tumble play, with numerous stick and collision marks. White airknit shirt has "Capitals" on front in blue tackle twill (elongated "L" is red) with "Washington" stitched in red above it, "Iafrate 34" on verso and "34" on both sleeves in blue on red tackle twill. Centennial Stanley Cup patch on the chest, blue and red stars, red around neck, blue and red stripes around waist. CCM and NHL patches along hem. "Maska Air-Knit" tag in collar with size "54" tag.
