1992 Rod Woodson Pittsburgh Steelers Game Worn Jersey (Photo-Matched to Three Games)
Hall of Fame defensive back Rod Woodson spent 17 years in the NFL, 11 of which saw him earn Pro Bowl honors. From the height of his prime in 1992 comes this gorgeous, all-original, Steelers white road jersey which is distinguished by a custom-hemmed tail and shows very nice use. Photo-matched to September 20th (81444866), November 29th (477543065), December 13th - two sacks in game (79425390) and one undated (1167498380). The Steelers 60th Anniversary patch has been removed from front left breast. "Woody‚s" famous #26 is stitched in black on the front, back and shoulders, with his name on the back in gold outlined in black. There is a Size 46 Starter label on the tail, alongside a swatch with the year "92" in black. There are at least eight repairs, including a large one near the left shoulder. Woodson spent 10 years with Pittsburgh before joining divisional rival Baltimore and helping the Ravens win their first Super Bowl title following the 2000 season. He wrapped up his brilliant career with stints by the bay in Oakland and San Francisco.Never before has a major sports franchise opened its team archives going back nearly a century.
