1994 Ivan Rodriguez MVP Trophy
Important annual award presented to the Most Valuable Player of the Puerto Rican League. The great I-Rod was presented this award at the age of only 22 years old and in his 4th season with the Texas Rangers. Stunning trophy is a gold statuette of a Roman-style athlete basking in victory. There is a slight damage at the top o/w NRMT. Figure is 9.5” tall mounted atop a handsome dark-brown-coated wooden base (3” in diameter) with a gold plaque engraved “1994 Roberto Clemente MVP Award, Ivan Rodriguez.” Trophy gleams with Clemente’s legacy.
