1995-96 Mario Lemieux Game Used Skates - Hart and Art Ross Trophy Year
1995-96 Mario Lemieux game worn ice skates from one of his many award-winning seasons. CCM Tacks skates have 11 1/2 N size stamping in the cuff of each, great use displayed with paint transfers, cuts, and scuffs; the insole has been removed from each, revealing the hardware that anchors the blade to the boot. The white sole of each, on which the blade is mounted, has the year, Super Mario's number 66, and "Hart - Art Ross" written in black marker. Le Magnifique was in the prime of his career in '95-96, recording the fourth of his five Art Ross trophies for leading the NHL in points as he was the top scorer in both goals and assists; it was also the third and final of his Hart Trophies, awarded to the Most Valuable Player. One of the finest pairs of Lemieux skates we have seen from one of hockey's greatest ever.
