All great things come to an end. The Winnipeg Jets moved to Phoenix and were renamed the Coyotes in 1996. This game-worn, Mike Stapleton jersey is from the Jets’ last season in Winnipeg. Stapleton was a fiery influence at center, racking up 21 penalty minutes in only six playoff games. The Maska Ultrafil sweater, size 52, with tags in the collar has a ‘Goals For Kids’ patch on the left sleeve, the Jets’ official charity. It shows moderate use with stick marks on the outside and pilling on the inside, Stapleton’s name and number ‘14’ are sewn on the back.
