1996-97 Paul Coffey Hartford Whalers Game Worn Jersey
Bold blue Hartford Whalers road knit worn by one of the games true offensive defensemen. Paul Coffey wore this Starter-made sweater during the first half of the 1996-97 season with Hartford. Starter tag embroidered in the neck with the large 54-R, changed to a 52 with heavy black marker. Cuff length has been shortened. Decent wear with some good black stick marks on the front and sleeves. Center Ice Collection tag. Fight strop shows light discoloration and some oxidation. Team set stamp in the hem reads "Official Hartford Whalers 1st Set, 1996-97 Season". Custom crafted in tail with Whalers' 1st Set and the team's logo silk screened. Very nice jersey from a future Hall of Famer.
