1996 Alex Rodriguez Signed Game Used Ken Griffey Jr. Bat (33.75")
Bat used by A-Rod in his 1st full season with the Mariners. Without a personal model bat, he used Ken Griffey Jr.'s Louisville Slugger C271 on the way to hitting .358. The irony is that A-Rod's success seemed to make Junior jealous and caused a rift between them, one of the reasons Griffey forced a trade in 2000. Black bat is signed "Alex Rodriguez (1996 Game Used)" in silver marker on the barrel, grading 8/10. Good use with a plenitude of ball marks and a long crack under the trademark. Criss-crossed tape wrapping on handle. Hollowed-out barrelhead with caked-in dirt.
