The mid-summer classic All-Star Game of 1996 was an early July boom for the National League, again defeating the American League (third consecutive), this time a humiliating shut-out, 6-0. So much for brotherly love in this Philadelphia-hosted contest, as Bonds, Piazza, McGriff, Jones, Biggio, Smoltz, Bagwell, Smith, and Sheffield of the National League overwhelmed the likes of Boggs, Arod, Ripken, McGwire, and Martinez on the American League side. These two official lineup cards highlight the victors and the embattled, mentioned above, plus more. The American League lineup is on a Philadelphia card and is signed by Mike Hargrove as manager, while the National League squad is listed on an Atlanta card with Bobby Cox signing at the bottom as manager. The National League card is an official carbon copy with handwritten changes made by the home plate umpire. Includes LOA.
