1997-98 Ashlin Halfnight & 1999-00 Andrew Merrick Home & Road Carolina Hurricanes Game Worn Jerseys (3)
First of the trio is a 1997-98 Ashlin Halfnight Starter Home (white) Hurricanes jersey with Halfnight’s number 29 on the back and sleeves. Large stick marks on the crest. A few stick marks on the right sleeve and about one half dozen on the left sleeve. Center Ice Authentic, Starter and size 54-R tags sewn in the neck. Starter and NHL logos embroidered on the back hem. Official Carolina Hurricanes 1st Set 1997-98 Season stamp inside the back hem. Halfnight did not play during the regular season and only played in the pre-season in 1997-98. Second jersey is a Home (white) Andrew Merrick jersey with the NHL2000 and Raleigh Arena Inaugural Season patches on the right chest. CCM and size 58 tagging in the neck. A few light stains near the neck and a small stain on the back. Steve Chiasson #3 patch sewn on the left sleeve. Fight strap intact inside the back. Third jersey is the Road (red) counterpart to Merrick’s Home (white). CCM and size 56 tagging in the neck. A couple of light marks on the front and a few marks on the back numbers. Fight strap present inside the back. Merrick did not play a regular season game for the Hurricanes in 1999-00 so the two jerseys with his name in this lot are from the pre-season and/or training camp.
