1997-98 Ed Belfour Chicago Blackhawks Game Worn Jersey
Superb 1997-98 Chicago Blackhawks jersey game worn by Hall of Fame netminder Ed Belfour. Nike size 58 tag in collar with faded "G" written in marker for goalie cut written on the tag, inside is also tagged "58 G." Colorful Hawks logo crest is across the chest, "C" crossed-tomahawks logo patches on each sleeve, and number 30 on sleeves and back in red-on-black tackle twill. Inside the back hem, "1" is written in marker to signify Set 1 for the year. The crest is all original as well as the numbers, but the name plate has been removed from the back for the following year's preseason activities. The jersey was hemmed above the black stripe at the bottom, but the hem was let out and stitch marks are present. Very nice use with pilling, puck/stick marks, and loose stitches. Belfour was considered one of the best goalies in an era that included the likes of Patrick Roy and Martin Brodeur, winning two Vezina Trophies for best individual goals against average and amassing 484 wins in his 17 NHL seasons, currently fifth on the all-time list.
