1998-99 Wayne Gretzky NY Rangers Game Worn Gloves
This pair of gauntlets protected The Great One’s million-dollar mitts during his last season in the NHL. Custom long-cuff Hespeler “99” gloves in the colors of the New York Rangers with heavy tan leather palms. Open cuff style, devoid of eyelets, each with the green cloth Hespeler label. This pair shows a few game’s worth of wear on the palms with a few good stick slashes across the knuckles. Donated by Wayne to a charity function as explained in the accompanying, and extremely detailed Letter of Authenticity.
