1998 Adam Oates Stanley Cup Finals Game 4 Washington Capitals Game Worn Jersey (Resolution Photomatching LOA)
Crisp Washington Capitals white home jersey game worn by Hall of Fame playmaker extraordinaire Adam Oates, photo-matched to Game 4 of the 1998 Stanley Cup Finals (Getty 380512). Jersey is all-original with size 54 and CCM tagging in collar, 1998 Stanley Cup Finals patch on right breast, and screaming eagle logo crest across the chest in black, blue, and bronze. Alternate Captain's "A" is on the left breast in black-on-white-and-bronze, Capital Dome logo patch is on each shoulder above the number 77 on each shoulder. Number is also on back above name on a plate, all in black-on-white-and-bronze. Fine use is evident with stick marks, pilling, loose threads, burns, and a team repair on the left sleeve; fight strap has been cut out, which is a common feature of Oates jerseys. The '97-98 Caps made a sensational run to the franchise's first-ever Stanley Cup Final, but ran into the juggernaut that was the Detroit Red Wings dynasty as the Wings swept the series for their second straight championship. Oates assisted on Washington's lone tally in the 4-1 final game, and he remains one of just 13 players in NHL history to top the 1,000 assists plateau, with his career total of 1,079 standing 8th on the all-time list. Comes with Resolution Photomatching ResMatch LOA.
