1998 Eric Lindros Olympics Game Worn Jersey
Red mesh Team Canada jersey was worn by team captain, Eric Lindros. A memorable jersey from a memorable outing. During the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics Lindros assisted a goal against the Czech Republic that rivaled the drama attributed to Henderson’s 1972 Summit Series goal. Unfortunately, after tying the game at 1-1, Team Canada, without premier breakaway scorers Kariya & Sakic, it was too little too late facing the determined Czech team. They lost in overtime. Jersey with large Team Canada logo emblazoned on the front with Captain’s “C” on front left shoulder. Bauer “B” logo embroidered in white on the front right shoulder. Verso is “Lindros” on nameplate and his number “88” enormous below. “Bauer” embroidered in white below the collar line. Each sleeve bears the Canada team patch with his number again below. “Bauer” barcode screened onto inside of back tail. Collar tagging is “Bauer Authentique with [size] 58 & 100% polyester flag tags. Nice use. LOA from President of the Canadian Hockey Association.
