1999/2000 Tony Gwynn Game-Used Bat (33")
Tony Gwynn knew how to wield a stick, and this game-used, two-tone Louisville Slugger with a silver Padres logo engraved in the bat head still holds hit-gathering magic. Plus, it has been blessed with Gwynn's silver-marker autograph above his engraved signature on the 1999/2000 model. Nicks and smudges but no apparent break illuminate Gwynn's swashbuckling control at the plate. "B267c 33-30 1/2 19" is written under the knob and "B267 19" is in the hollowed-out tip. Note the "/3000" on the bat head to symbolize Gwynn's pursuit of 3,000 hits. Perfect display piece from one of the all-time great hit men.
