Great lot of horse racing tobacco cards by Kinney Bros and Allen & Ginter, circa 1890’s! Collection includes:- 11 cards from Kinney Bros N229 series: 2 graded (Thora, PSA 6, mc), (Montrose, PSA 7, mc), 4 cards EX or better, 5 cards VG to VG-EX;- 25 cards from the N230 series: 13 cards EX-MT, 8 cards VG-EX, 4 cards lesser;- 33 cards from the N231 series: 17 cards EX or better, 7 cards VG, 7 cards GD-VG, 2 cards lesser;9 cards have light to moderate paper loss on the back.The Allen & Ginter cards (c. 1888) include:- 24 cards from ‘Racing Colors of the World’: 12 EX-MT (4 with tape residue on the reverse), 6 VG, 6 lesser with light to moderate creasing;- 4 cards from ‘The World’s Racers’: 2 EX, 2 VG.All told, 97 nice, mid-grade condition horse racing tobacco cards from the late 19th century!
