2000-01 Ray Bourque Colorado Avalanche Worn Jersey
What more can be said about Ray Bourque's final season? There was not a dry eye in the house when he finally lifted the Cup high over his head. Certainly a magical moment shared by fans all over the world. This maroon Koho air-knit was worn by Bourque during the first half of the team's Championship season and displays the 2001 All Star patch on the right breast. The cuffs have been custom shortened and the shirt shows a number of stick marks and board burns, especially on the sleeves. Tagged in the tail by CCM and again in the neck with the size "58" fly tag. Team set tag in the tail reads "Official Issue, Colorado Avalanche, 00/01 Set I-1". Team Letter of Authenticity on Avalanche letterhead. An important piece from Ray's swan song.
