2001 Hines Ward Game Worn Pittsburgh Steelers Jersey - PHOTO-MATCHED (Steelers COA)

A four-time Pro-Bowler, two-time Super Bowl champion, and Super Bowl MVP, Hines Ward was the dictionary definition of tough, durable and dependable. Missing just seven games in a fourteen-year NFL career, he retired with 1,000 catches, over 12,000 yards, eighty-five touchdowns, and an anemic fourteen fumbles. Road white jersey has mesh body, nylon-knit shoulders, and black/gold/white cotton-durene sleeves, with elasticized sleeve cuffs. “86” appears on the front/back/sleeves, all sewn-on in black tackle twill, with “Ward” in gold/black tackle twill sewn onto the verso nameplate. Patches include Steelers logo on the left chest, the NFL shield at the v-neck, and Reebox logos on the sleeves. Collar tagging features “01-40” stamped in black on a white swatch. This exemplar exhibits definite game wear with fraying to the identifiers, paint transfer marks, and a small hole on the left sleeve. Comes with a letter of provenance from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Addendum: This jersey has just been photo-matched to November 25, 2001 vs. Titans and Ward's 2002 Score card.

Jersey comes directly from the Steelers archive and come with an LOA from the Steelers. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Steelers Archives items will be donated to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research.
