After fleeing Cuba in 1971, Rafael Palmeiro embarked on a sensational baseball career. The future HOFer has established himself as one of the best hitters in the league. Rapidly approaching the 500HR milestone, he has already acquired over 2500 hits! With this D-Bat, Rafael hit #s 2498, 2499, & 2500 vs. the Anaheim Angels, April 17, 2002. Natural wood colored handle shows remnants of pine tar. Barrel dipped in black is signed in silver sharpie, “Rafael Palmeiro hit 2498, 2499, 2500”. Nice use. LOA from Palmeiro.
