2004 Mark Messier New York Rangers Game Used Skates (Photo-Matched)
Pair of game used skates dating to March 17, 2004, comes from the last season in the elite career of 6-time Stanley Cup winner Mark Messier. Bauer Tuuk skates are a combination of gray and black with blue and red highlights and show light to moderate use with scuff marks. Each has 11 written on the heels along with the date of 3-17-04 in silver Sharpie, and they are photo-matched to that contest. After winning an impressive five Stanley Cups in the captain's role during the Edmonton Oilers' Stanley Cup dynasty, he took his act to Broadway and helped the New York Rangers break their 54-year streak without a title with their thrilling 7-game victory over the Vancouver Canucks in the 1994 finals. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007, in his first year of eligibility.
