2004 Sammy Sosa Game Used Easton Bat (34.25")
Sammy's Easton Pro Maple SS-2 signature model lumber from last season may have been responsible for some of the 35 dingers that put him at 574, 7th-best all-time. The knob is cushioned with layer upon layer of tape, making it seem almost as if there's a snowball beneath his palms when he hits. Through a donut-hole opening in the tape is a "21" written in black marker on the knob, and on the barreltop is written "SS2, 21". Uncracked. Extensive use is evident including ball, cleat, pine tar and rack markings, and as with his gloves there's an attached Domincian flag sticker, here placed on the upper handle. Viva Sosa!
